The museum depicts life during the industrial revolution. It is open from March to October.

Lázně Libverda:

Restaurant in Lázně Libverda:
This restaurant, situated just above the small city Lázně Libverda, is famous for its unusual shape – it is a giant barrel, which was built in 1931. It serves as a small hotel as well as a restaurant. One can choose from a variety of meals. Souvenirs can be bought there.

From Obří sud, a solid mass of the Jizera Mountains can be seen and admired there. Marked routes for tourists and cyclists can be used in the surroundings.

Frýdlant:

The medieval Castle and the Renaissance Chateau in Frýdlant represent an interesting harmonic architectural complex. The Castle was built in the 13th century. The Renaissance Chateau dates back to the 17th century. The Chateau opened its collections of weapons, furniture, paintings and books from the 16th and 17th centuries to the public already in 1801. There are also unique historical collections of pipes and of toys. The Chateau Gallery displays works of the Czech Baroque.


 

Town hall in Frýdlant:
The town hall is a dominant factor of the town. It was built in the years 1893-1896 in Neo-renaissance style. There is also a museum inside the hall, which exposes the nature and history of Frýdlant.

 

 

 

 

Watchtower in Frýdlant:
The watchtower is hidden in the Frýdlant woods at the very edge of the town. If the sky is clear, Ještěd in Liberec can be seen from the top of the tower. (Ještěd is a very attractive architectonical building on the highest mountain of Lužické Mountains in Liberec).
